Cailin and Ben have a new tiny baby that they made from scratch! Baby A is totally skeptical and I'm predicting he will also be the next big rapper. Check it:
They had me over to their lovely little home which I was so pleased to see is covered with photos I took at their baller wedding.
Babies crack me up so much.
Congrats again, guys!
Not gonna lie, I know almost nothing about babies. I come in for an hour, encourage cuddling and smiles, then I hit the road and process the images. But it's really interesting how two-week-old newborns have such different personalities. They can't tell you much, but their eyes are doing lots of things. And their mouths. And, hey, who are we kidding, their butts.
Kate and Joey invited me into their home to document a piece of their first days with Baby J.
This is one of my favorite family photos ever. Their poor dog is feeling neglected with the new addition. And: owls!
It was mad overcast that day but their house has tons of beautiful light.
I had one foot out the door and Baby J started doing his asleep-smiling thing. We caught one!
Congratulations guys! He's beautiful.
Once upon a time, two lovely people met in Mt. Pleasant, fell in love, got married and had a baby. They made goofy faces at the baby, because goofy faces are this couple's particular forte. Sometimes the baby cried, but mostly she was very happy. And then they hired a brilliant photographer to take documentary family photos. The end.
Ok, not the end. Not the beginning. Just somewhere in the very-good middle.
Baby L has a tiny tongue and little tiny toes.
And a tiny vajay - sorry future teenage Baby L!
Nancy and Ilan's house has amazing light. Everyone should get to live in a house with light like this. I fully anticipate they will do all future baby cuddling mushed into this corner of their kitchen.
Congratulations, you two.
