I've known Mike for the better part of a decade, ever since I was renting a tiny room with crappy A/C and very charming housemates in Del Ray. We're all married now and having babies and acting like straight grown-ups! It's been my pleasure to document the nuptials over the years.
Juliet and Mike gathered together their families under a big tree in Montrose Park and together with their children said some serious I-Dos.
Juliet and Mike spurned the courthouse in favor of a quiet park, on a just-warm-enough sunny summer day. Tiffany from MarriageDC, with her ever-calm presence, officiated.
Baby M slept through the whole ceremony but woke up right on cue for pictures and adorableness.
Ceremony and portraits a wrap, we scooted to Restaurant Nora so these legally-wed folks could get their eat on.
Congratulations, you guys!
D & K were married at Tiffany Newman's adorable chapel in Dupont Circle, surrounded by tons of friends and family to cheer them on. These two made my job eeeeeeeasy.
Tiffany has the most wonderful calming presence. She's a great alternative to the courthouse for those looking to get well and married already.
Somebody was riffing them about being too sexy during the first kiss.
After some family portraits just down the block from the chapel...
... we Ubered on over to Meridian Hill Park, one of my favorite places to do portraits in the city.
My clients are always trying to do like on the left, but I never let them get away with it for long. These two could obviously rock the GQ look also.
Congratulations, you guys!
Sara and David met while playing video games, which means they must have really enjoyable shared-interest downtime (with downtime being a funny techy pun, get it?) These two hip cats got married on their already-standing anniversary, amongst immediate family and friends at the very nice MarriageDC, then scooted down to Fiola for many food and drinks.
Sara had the prettiest hair and the loveliest ethereal veil.
It took a bit of dodging the folks loitering about the benches.
Congratulations you guys!
