Jodie and Ryan were down for whatever, so we made lots of weird photos. I enjoy that in people who have hired me to photograph their wedding.
They got hitched at the DC courthouse, then we rolled down to the National Mall for gallivanting, standing in front of art and lots and lots of congratulations from the crowds.
Jodie has the best laugh.
More fun weird stuff.
And also really pretty stuff. I'm versatile like that.
This was a month ago (they've been on a super-rad long honeymoon) so this was one of the first trees to bloom. We took advantage.
Congratulations guys!
Joyzeline and Ed were married under threat of rain storms, but no rain storms appeared. Instead, they had lots of smiling faces, some serious blossom action in Old Town Alexandria and quirky street scenes. Their family and friends gathered at the Carlyle House gardens to watch these two tie the knot. Joyzeline and Ed:
Oh, just me being weird. Ed's dad had to take a sneeze.
And then we made the fam go get cocktails while we took a stroll through the Carlyle gardens.
And wandered into greater Old Town for some yellow door and blossom action.

Joyzeline was kind enough to play along for this one and turn her jacket inside out.
And finally, the newlyweds (ok, just Joyzeline) enjoyed a pre-cake cake at Lavender Moon.
Congratulations, guys!
Allison and David got hitched at the DC courthouse, amidst a small but joyful group of family and friends. It was a balmy 27* out, so we skipped the outdoors as much as possible and instead hit up the National Gallery's modern wing, where they have been reinstalling a couple artworks I missed. These two enjoy a good "street" scene, so I concocted a few for them, with the help of the tourists.
I shoot at this museum a lot, so sometimes it's hard to think of new things to do in the space. But we took some new angles for these two.
A quick jaunt in the classical side.
This girl seemed to have no idea there was a photo shoot happening on either side of her. Modern, right?
Portraits wrapped, we took a very chilly walk two blocks over to the courthouse. Check out David's hat - very swank!
Congratulations you guys!
