Juliet & Mike | Montrose Park intimate wedding | Washington, DC
I've known Mike for the better part of a decade, ever since I was renting a tiny room with crappy A/C and very charming housemates in Del Ray. We're all married now and having babies and acting like straight grown-ups! It's been my pleasure to document the nuptials over the years. Juliet and Mike gathered together their families under a big tree in Montrose Park and together with their children said some serious I-Dos.
Juliet and Mike spurned the courthouse in favor of a quiet park, on a just-warm-enough sunny summer day. Tiffany from MarriageDC, with her ever-calm presence, officiated.
Baby M slept through the whole ceremony but woke up right on cue for pictures and adorableness.
Ceremony and portraits a wrap, we scooted to Restaurant Nora so these legally-wed folks could get their eat on.

After family pictures they had to run, so we did the ultimate-fast version of portraits. The courthouse ain't so bad, amiright?
Then we headed over to 
And pause. That is an eight-bit cake. And their invitation says "leveling up"! How frickin' rad.
Maggiano's has some pretty swank ballrooms.
Kristi and Tom kissed every single time their guests clinked the glasses.

Dogs are fun.
We dropped off our canine pals at home, but stole a few quick snaps on Kelly and Mike's adorable porch.
Lincoln time! (And aside: I normally try to dissuade people from shooting here because of the crowds, but as long as you don't mind a bunch of tourists in your photos, it's actually a really nice place to be - getting on towards sunset. Earlier it's way way bright.)
