Ani and David got married at the DC courthouse last week with their immediate families and more laughs than you can shake a stick at, not that it's appropriate to be shaking sticks at weddings. After the courthouse, we rolled on down to the National Gallery of Art, one of my favorite spots for portraits in DC. Rock on, friends.
The path to the Capitol goes by that great view on Pennsylvania Ave.
And it affords a spot for a little "street" (shhh, this is a composite).
Congratulations, you guys!
Shakti and DevKirn celebrated many years of love and life together by marrying in Montrose Park last week. In one of the more intimate and beautiful ceremonies I've seen, they included a great deal of chanting and singing, and recounting some of their love story. These two used to play music in Montrose Park when they were younger, and so though they have moved away, it was a very fitting place to get married.
We were joined by a number of canine friends.
The heat finally broke for their wedding and it was really beautiful in the shade.
Congratulations, you guys!
