Allison & Mark | Rockville Courthouse wedding

Allison and Mark rock so much. They're super-happy-cuddly-giggly, which is hands-down my favorite quality in a couple. And Allison wore this amazing 50s polka-dot dress. And they were going to someplace called Spice Xing for lunch and they kept calling it "ex-ing". And they're librarians and arranged for us to do indoor portraits at a nearby library and it was an awesome library. And Mark has a Star Wars checkbook. And and and. I saw him speak at a wedding photography conference a couple weeks ago and he had an image with the same concept. It was sort of a mistake when it happened, but I just went with it, and liked it better than what I had in mind anyway. artistic library wedding photography Congratulations Allison & Mark! Erin & Patrick | Arlington courthouse wedding

Erin and Patrick are going to rock out the big dress, big ballroom, party-for-everyone-we-know a little later on this year. But sometimes life (or bureaucracies) dictate that you have to go to the courthouse a little early. And if you're going to do that, you might as well bring along your photographer and rock out a courthouse/engagement session duo of awesomeness. So they did. wedding pictures on a metro escalator In Arlington, you don't get married in an actual courthouse, but in a lawyer's office across the way. Apparently two dudes in the basement duke it out for couples (I'd photographed weddings at the other guy's office - this was my first time on this side). K & O | DC courthouse wedding photography

K, O, and I were carefully watching Hurricane Sandy as we came up on their wedding day.  Thankfully for DC, the storm mostly blew right over and left a chilly, breezy winter day for us to play with.  A couple drops of rain and one very modern museum later, and we had some portraits! national gallery of art wedding photography But first, K & O rocked the courthouse. dc courthouse wedding photography wedding at washington dc courthouse washington dc courthouse photography courthouse wedding photography in washington dc courthouse wedding photography in dc washington dc wedding photography wedding photography at national gallery of art creative wedding photography in washington dc dc creative photography at art museum classic wedding photography in washington dc I've got a new proposal for couples wanting photos with the monuments - the National Gallery of Art!  No permit needed (okay technically not true, but I've never been harassed on the Mall, unlike every experience I've had trying to photograph couples on/near the monuments).  It's historic, beautiful and looks a heck of a lot like the "classic" DC scenes. wedding photography at national gallery of art courthouse wedding photography in washington dc Congratulations you guys!
