A & A are married and they got kids and they seem to be loving life. But they're engaged again anyway. Cuz. It's pretty great. And when you're engaged, you do engagement photos, obviously. So we did. In Bon Air Park, which still had tons of fall foliage going on.
These two are so goofy and hilarious. We worked on three movie references during this photo shoot. This is The Notebook. Right?!
Not pictured: Dirty Dancing, whereby I made them go down to the creek and try to dance on a log. I underestimated the difficulty of that maneuver. You're also missing the Reservoir Dogs take we did with the fam. I'm probably going to use it for all family sessions from now on. Also, imagine me attempting to explain how to do Reservoir Dogs without using the word "badass" (because of swearing). I always bring the awkward.
Pretty sure A is doing jazz hands here.
Congratulations you guys!
Sarah and Rob are having a baby and that's rad. They live two steps from all these places we shot at in Crystal City - the kind of session I love doing - just wandering around their neighborhood. It's especially nice to do for a maternity session, so baby-on-the-way can see where Mom and Dad hung out before they came along. Also, Crystal City is mad beautiful, if you take the time to look at it.
Their pup Maggie is going to have to give up some attention soon enough.
I kind of love the dog creeping on them.
Congratulations, you guys!
Jade and Paul just bought a house, in time to fill it with their ridiculously tiny dogs and an itty-bitty new person Jade is growing. I'm excited to meet the new little human later this year, but for now Jade and Paul wanted to document this time of transition in their lives. We took a few around their new digs, then scooted over to a really lovely park near their house. I hope the baby has a huge head of curly hair, too.
I generally like dogs, but these are really really cute dogs. I think if there were only one of them, I wouldn't be tripping.
Warning: fake laugh ahead. It works, what can I say?
Congratulations, guys! See you before you know it!
