Jennifer and Aric had a swinging time (forgive me!) at their beautiful, purple wedding at
Top of the Town in Arlington. So you know how in a lot of weddings there's that one older couple that can really cut a rug and take over the dance floor and they're totally awesome?
Every couple at Jennifer and Aric's wedding was like that, because these two are talented swing dancers. And there was Rubik's Cube cake. J&A:
We started the day at
Le Meridien in Arlington, which happens to have a big, lovely patio for first looks and family photos and things. Thanks, as always, to Julia for hanging with the boys.
Not gonna lie, Jennifer's grandmother was a bit of a show-stealer.
She had competition too.

Sue and Gary.

These two got married on Jennifer's parents' 45th wedding anniversary, so the kids put together a special treat.

It was just so freakin' hot on Monday, but fortunately there's indoor space at the chapel.
When you've been with someone a long time, you start to make the same facial expressions. (And other things you notice as a people photographer.)
Melissa and Jacob do the best deadpan I've seen yet. I typically have my couples do one or two of these "weird" photos in case they're into that. These two really have great serious faces.

I met up with them at the 
Ok check the green Converse. I wanted to get married in Converse and my husband vetoed it! Further: I believe I overheard Kiersten say her dress was from ModCloth, so get on that immediately.
Portraits round one accomplished, we hopped in our cars and rolled out to Meadowlark, where lots of people related to Kiersten and Patrick were waiting patiently, cameras ready.
