I'm constantly telling people to choose a "meaningful" location for their engagement session. See, here's the thing. Wouldn't it be nice to look back on these casual photos with you and your honey and have
memories associated with the photos? That's why I'm always thrilled when my couples choose a place near and dear to their hearts. Ann and Chris chose Cleveland Park for their engagement session because it's where they spent a lot of time while they were falling in love. Even though most of these images are not iconic from the neighborhood, I do hope and believe they'll remember why they chose the location and think back on the beginning of their story.
Oh, the light!
These two humored me big-time. I love when I tell a couple to go sit in front of the mailboxes and they're like "well, okay!"
Congratulations Ann & Chris! I'll see you two soon for your big day!
What a sweet couple! Love that last one
The photos of them in the crosswalk is great!
Very nice. Mailboxes!?!? Haha. Nice to see Cleveland Park– I grew up in DC and have missed it since not returning for 6 years (6 years!?!?!). I need to go back soon.
Lovely lighting.
Ah, the middle of the street! I love seeing all the chaos around them and the couple not even noticing.
What a sweet couple, I love the natural feel of this session!
Very nice, you are going to get awesome images of their wedding.
The kissing shot is great, something a bit different and well captured.
Great job capturing their intimacy in these shots.
Vibrant colors + beautiful couple + great photography = amazing! 🙂
These are FABULOUS!!
Second to last – beautiful.
Love that motion blur in the first one, and really gorgeous light in the following two!
Great control of light!
